Jennifer Mykolyshyn is a visual artist with a focus on drawing, painting, and collage. Her unique perspective is shaped by her background as a life drawing model, which has given her a deep, embodied understanding of the human form. This insight informs her expressive, gestural style, often revealed through abstracted figurative works rich in movement and emotional resonance.
In addition to her figurative work, Jennifer explores themes of eroticism and transformation, drawing inspiration from nature and wildlife. These elements often merge in her art to create fantastical creatures and hidden worlds, inviting viewers into spaces that are both intimate and imaginative.
Jennifer is an award-winning graduate of the Visual and Creative Arts program at Fleming College and has also studied art and design at Emily Carr University. She has exhibited her work in galleries throughout Ontario and continues to cultivate a distinctive artistic practice grounded in gesture, emotion, and imagination.
