David Rolfe is an illustrator and visual artist whose work explores the intersection of nature, mystery, and narrative. Working primarily on Mylar and Yupo paper, Rolfe uses a layered approach—combining graphite, conte, pastel, ink, and watercolor—to create evocative, finely detailed scenes that often blur the line between the real and the surreal.
Each piece hints at a larger, unseen story. Rolfe’s work invites the viewer into a world where the natural landscape holds memory, myth, and metaphor.
Rolfe is an honours graduate of Ontario College of Art.
