Ashley Toner has always loved creating and sharing her love of nature by connecting others through her expressive and colourful paintings. Enjoy her unique style and magnificent use of texture and colour as you escape into one of her many Georgian Bay scenes or whimsical textured florals. Her humble beginnings in the countryside outside the small and charming town of Parry Sound, Ontario, provide much of her inspiration where she grew up surrounded by the peaceful trees and beautiful shores of Georgian Bay. 

She practices mental quietude and becomes fully immersed in the creative moment as she translates nature to canvas through eloquent and elaborate strokes and layers of impasto paint. Her paintings burst alive with vibrant colours, expressive movements and exquisite textures that are created with palette knives.

She has participated in numerous art exhibits. Her paintings are collected internationally and are held in many private collections. Ashley donates to the Dundas Valley School of the Arts, Canadian Cancer Society, local hospitals and Addictions and Mental Health Ontario.

She graduated summa cum laude with a BA in Fine Art from McMaster University. She has held several unique opportunities including supporting the McMaster Museum of Art and Carnegie Gallery as a gallery assistant, photographer, fashion model, and as an art framer and designer.
